Murder Party is an efficient black comedy about sad sack Chris who is so passive he can’t even get his cat to hop off his chair. He picks up a Halloween invitation to a party off the sidewalk. Not even questioning the wisdom of attending some random party he wasn’t invited to, he makes pumpkin bread and his own suit of armor out of cardboard and heads down to the warehouse district.
